Trapped

I feel like I am trapped in a bubble that is not of my own construction.
The edges are not fluid and flexible.
They are rough and static.
My mind wishes to break this bond, but with every crash against its unyielding surface further constrains me with this barrier closing in on me.
My nightmares are coming to pass and the desire to fight them is waning like our own moon.  
Do I challenge the fates for another throw - a better throw - against one's destiny...One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars.
